and they are welcome to stay in any hotel of their choice.

The Beacon is one of the city best-value hotels, especially for families.  
The rooms won't win style awards, but each has a modern kitchenette and  
most accommodate four. One-bedroom and two-bedroom/bath suites are good  
value. Washer/dryers are another family-friendly plus.
