Questions about IPSI-2006 BELGRADE Social Program?

Dear Potential Participants:

During the conference we plan for a rich social program, and each
activity needs carefull advance planing, so please respond precisely to
each and every question listed below. Each activity below is free of
charge for IPSI participants (who paid the full registration fee), and
for their accompanying persons (who paid the accompanying person fee).

We expect your answers before Friday November 20 at noon Belgrade time,
since that is our deadline for reservations. Also, we expect only
precise answers like YES or NO. An answer of the type "maybe" will be
treated as "no"; the same applies to no answer by deadline.

We are sorry that we have to be so strict, but we have to pay strict
non-trivial amounts on Fruday 20 at noon, and after that we will have no
possibility to change (the remaining resources will be sold to other
parties, and we can get no reimburcement for reserved/paid but unused
resources).

Here are the questions:

1. MADERA
On Monday August 28, at 8pm, till 10pm, we plan the
registration at the Restaurant Maders, over a salad dinner
   (mozzarela-caprese, Greek-salad, or Serbian-salad). A live chamber
music in the background. The restaurant is only 100m away from Hotels
Metropol and Tas. Myself and the conference Manager Olivera ill
be there. Will you come to that event?

2. CONCERT
On Tudesday August 29 from 8pm (or little earler) till 10pm, we
plan a concert of classical music. Meeting time 7pm, and walking
together 30 minutes to the Concert Place. Will you come to
   that event?

3. DANCING IN RESTAURANT "REKA" (REKA means RIVER)
On Wednesday August 30 from 10pm till 3am, we plan a dancing party (with
a salad dinner) in Restaurant Reka, together with other business
partners and students who work for these businesses. The place is
about 20 minutes away from Belgrade center, and participants will be
responsible for their own taxi transfer (about e5 one way). The
place is very famous - the US and Japanese ambassadors are there once
a month (also the president of Serbia), but the activity requires
lots of physical strength, because the log out before 2:30am is not
possible! Do you plan to join?

4. OPERA
On Thursday August 31 from 8pm (or little earlier) till 11:30pm, we plan
a visit to the Belgrade Opera House. Meeting time at 7pm, and walking
30 minutes to the Opera House. Name of the Opera (literal translation by
   myself): Rigoletto

5. STUDENT PARTY
On Thursday August 31 from midnight till 3pm, students who plan to
attend your lectures (about 100) will organize a beach party on a
lake near Belgrade. Free entrance for IPSI participants, but each
drink is to be paid about E1 or E2 (for the funds dedicated to
talented students). Again, taxi transfer (E5 one way)
is on the participants. Do you plan to come?

6. TOUR OF SERBIAN MONASTERIES
On Sunday at noon, if weather permits, a two day trip to Serbian Monasteries
starts (return to Belgrade on Tuesday evening). All info on that subject was
sent to you earlier, by separate email. Do you plan to join?
The cost of a package with better accomodation and donation for
Belgrade students costs E400. The cost of a package with a more
modest accomodation and without a donation for Belgrade students
costs E200 (you have a choice). Serbian monastery frescos of
centuries XI to XIV are the best in the World! Do you plan to join?

We are looking forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience,
but not later than the deadline defined above!

Sincerely Yours,

Prof. Dr. V. Milutinovic, Chairman,
Fellow of the IEEE
