Napoli to Hotel Santa Caterina Transportation

  1. The arrival and departure transport costs from Napoli to/from Hotel Santa Caterina are free of charge only for those who stay in the Santa Caterina hotel and if the mini-buses (defined below) are used.

    TRANSFERS ON TUESDAY 21.3.2006.

    At 6pm from the Airport, and at 6:30pm from the train station.

    TRANSFERS ON WEDNESDAY 22.3.2006.

    Free transfer from Naples Airport at 2:00pm from the
    arrival lounge. The driver will hold a sign saying "IPSI-2006 AMALFI Conference".
    It will leave at 2:00pm from Naples airport and at 2:30pm from
    Napoli Centrale Station.

    Another free transfer is scheduled for the late afternoon. At 6:00pm
    from the airport and at 6:30pm from Napoli Centrale station.

    TRANSFERS ON THURSDAY 23.3.2006.

    There will be transfers as follows:
    At 2:00pm, 4:00pm, and 6:00pm from the airport;
    and at 2:30pm, 4:30pm, and 6:30pm from Napoli Centrale Station.
  2. When making the hotel reservation, attendees specify to the hotel the arrival method (air or train) to Napoli, so Hotel Santa Caterina knows how to schedule the mini-bus transfers (how many mini-buses at what hour).
  3. As already indicated, mini-buses start at Napoli airport at 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm on the arrival day (23.3.2006.). They pass by the train station, and leave it at 2:30pm, 4:30pm, and 6:30pm. Arrival to Santa Caterina at 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm.
  4. IMPORTANT: If attendees can not make or miss the mini-bus transfer, they can get a Mercedes car transport (for 4 persons), one way at the rate of e100, upon calling Santa Caterina. In the case that a mini-bus is missed, it takes 2 hours for the Mercedes to arrive to the meeting point, sharp at the time pre specified at the time of call.
  5. No matter what is the arrival method, attendees will be welcomed at the arrival point, with a big IPSI-2006 AMALFI sign.
  6. On the way back (26.3.2006.), mini-buses start Sunday at 5am, 9am, and 1pm. Also, on Monday 27.3.2006. at 5am and 1pm, and on Tuesday 28.3.2006. at 5am. Again, if none of these fits, one can ask for a paid transfer of e100 (for a 4-passanger Mercedes).
  7. If any problems, call 089.871012 (from Italy).
  8. Watch your belongings at the Napoli airport and/or train station.
    Inside the airplane and train - no problem.
    Of course, in the hotel, you will be safer than ever (even Hillary Clinton was feeling absolutely safe in Santa Caterina).
